If you feel that your smile is not as bright as it could be, we can help you with Teeth Whitening. A more youthful, luminous smile is only a phone call away.
We have many years of experience delivering whiter, brighter teeth to patients. Our bleaching technique is safe, easy, and effective.
Over time, many people’s teeth become yellow or discoloured. Coffee, tea, wine, smoking, age, and many foods can darken your teeth and dull your smile. Whiter teeth can make you look younger and healthier, giving you more confidence in your smile and overall appearance. Professional teeth whitening (or “bleaching”) is significantly more effective than over-the-counter whitening products, which often remove only surface stains. Your teeth can be whitened by several shades during a single course of treatment.
Our teeth whitening process uses a specially-made mouthguard, which is filled with bleaching gel and worn for part of the day. After a consultation, we’ll take an impression of your teeth, which will be used to make a custom-fit “tray” for your teeth. This tray is thin, flexible, and non-invasive. It will be comfortable enough to wear at night or for short periods during the day. You will receive the tray along with special dental bleaching gel, which can be purchased in varying strengths depending on when and how long you wish to wear the tray during the day. Milder gel can be used overnight, while stronger gel may be used for shorter periods in the daytime. During the consultation, we’ll help you decide on the best option for your personal routine.
The gel is applied to the inside of the tray, and the tray is placed over your teeth and pressed into place to ensure an even distribution of product. After the allotted time has passed, the trays should be removed and cleaned with warm water. You should rinse your mouth thoroughly and brush your teeth following a bleaching session, then store the trays in a safe place until the next day. Depending on the level of whiteness you would like to achieve, this process should be repeated for two weeks or longer.
Teeth whitening does not last forever. You may need to “touch up” your teeth occasionally. These subsequent bleaching sessions may only take a few days or a week to be effective.
